Online booking FAQ
How pre-booked private hire works when you book a taxi in Falkirk online.
How do I book a taxi in Falkirk online?
Use this form: pickup, drop-off, date, time, passengers and any extras. We confirm by email with your quoted price. That is how licensed private hire works, rather than hailing a cab.
How far in advance should I pre-book an airport taxi from Falkirk?
At least 24 hours when you can, especially for Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport at unsocial hours. Short-notice airport taxi is possible if a driver is free.
When do I pay for a private hire booking?
Pay the driver by cash or card at the end of the journey unless you are on a monthly corporate account. The quoted price is agreed when we accept the booking.
Can I book a return private hire journey online?
Yes. Add a return on the form or book a second leg later. Return airport transfers from Falkirk use the same quoted-from prices in each direction.
What if my flight is delayed after I book an airport pickup?
Add the flight number when you book. We monitor the arrival and retime the airport pickup at no extra charge, so you are not paying a meter while we wait.
Can I book an 8 seater taxi in Falkirk online?
Tell us passenger count and luggage on the form so we send the right vehicle. Standard saloon, extra space and larger vehicles are quoted before you travel.
